Jan Hus
Hus was born of poor parents in Husinec in southern Bohemia. In about 1390 he began at the University of Prauge, and two years after his graduation in, 1394, he received a master’s degree and started teaching at the university. He became dean of the philosophical faculty at Prauge in 1401. in 1402 Hus was in charge of Bethlehem Chapel, which would eventually lead to a reformation of religion in Bohemia. Despite all of his work at the church, Hus taught in the arts department at Prauge and was getting his doctorate in Theology. Hus was considered the leader of the reform in the Czech Rep. however he just taught his beliefs. He shared very few of the same beliefs as John Wycliffe, however a lot of colleagues and peers did.
